Laser scanning is quickly becoming an industry standard whether for
reverse engineering ( digitizing ) or part Inspection. The process of
laser scanning in many applications is a time and money saving solutoin
which quickly pays for itself. Together with its ability to enhance the
design process and reduce data collection errors laser scanning is
an essential alternative to other traditional data collection techniques.
Laser scanning was introduced to the market several years ago with a
high price tag, most sytems starting at $100,000 or more with

brought to the table a desk top portable system with industrial accuracy

Laser scanning allows the user to quickly align to their part and

that may otherwise deform under touch probe pressure. The Microscribe
