Hi Robert,

If I recall correctly, the data are ordered by specimen, so

Individual #1 1X 1Y 2X 2Y 3X 3Y 4X 4Y 5X 5Y
Individual #1 6X 6Y 7X 7Y 8X 8Y 9X 9Y 10X 10Y
Individual #1 11X 11Y 12X 12Y 13X 13Y 14X 14Y UniX UniY
Individual #2 1X 1Y 2X 2Y 3X 3Y 4X 4Y 5X 5Y
Individual #2 6X 6Y 7X 7Y 8X 8Y 9X 9Y 10X 10Y
Individual #2 11X 11Y 12X 12Y 13X 13Y 14X 14Y UniX UniY
Individual #3 1X 1Y 2X 2Y 3X 3Y 4X 4Y 5X 5Y
Individual #3 6X 6Y 7X 7Y 8X 8Y 9X 9Y 10X 10Y
Individual #3 11X 11Y 12X 12Y 13X 13Y 14X 14Y UniX UniY

should be correct.

Hope this helps!

    Morphometricians,

    I have 80 specimens with 7 "hard" landmarks and 10 semi/sliding
landmarks and was using tpsRelw. My saved w-matrix of partial warp
scores and uniform components is in the form of a 240 row x 10 column
matrix. Yup, there is definitely a line break every ten scores. The
NTS file confirms all 80 individuals and indicates there are 30 scores
per individual, a pair for each hard landmark plus a pair for the
    uniform components (1 80L 30L 0). Since 240 lines divided by 80
individuals = 3, that gives me three lines of scores per specimen.
Does anyone know whether my scores are arranged as:

    Individual #1 1X 1Y 2X 2Y 3X 3Y 4X 4Y 5X 5Y
    Individual #1 6X 6Y 7X 7Y 8X 8Y 9X 9Y 10X 10Y
    Individual #1 11X 11Y 12X 12Y 13X 13Y 14X 14Y UniX UniY
    Individual #2 1X 1Y 2X 2Y 3X 3Y 4X 4Y 5X 5Y
    Individual #2 6X 6Y 7X 7Y 8X 8Y 9X 9Y 10X 10Y
    Individual #2 11X 11Y 12X 12Y 13X 13Y 14X 14Y UniX UniY
    Individual #3 1X 1Y 2X 2Y 3X 3Y 4X 4Y 5X 5Y
    Individual #3 6X 6Y 7X 7Y 8X 8Y 9X 9Y 10X 10Y
    Individual #3 11X 11Y 12X 12Y 13X 13Y 14X 14Y UniX UniY
    etc?

    or as:
    Individual #1 1X 1Y 2X 2Y 3X 3Y 4X 4Y 5X 5Y
    Individual #2 1X 1Y 2X 2Y 3X 3Y 4X 4Y 5X 5Y
    Individual #3 1X 1Y 2X 2Y 3X 3Y 4X 4Y 5X 5Y
    Individual #1 6X 6Y 7X 7Y 8X 8Y 9X 9Y 10X 10Y
    Individual #2 6X 6Y 7X 7Y 8X 8Y 9X 9Y 10X 10Y
    Individual #3 6X 6Y 7X 7Y 8X 8Y 9X 9Y 10X 10Y
    Individual #1 11X 11Y 12X 12Y 13X 13Y 14X 14Y UniX UniY
    Individual #2 11X 11Y 12X 12Y 13X 13Y 14X 14Y UniX UniY
    Individual #3 11X 11Y 12X 12Y 13X 13Y 14X 14Y UniX UniY
    etc?

or, maybe, something even less intuitive?

    Thanks in advance.
