Shahin, I suspect that by mistake some extra information was added to some
images (and only some of them) and that's possibly why the TPS format does
not work. Jim will be able to tell you more.
If you're only interested in landmark coordinates in your analysis, the NTS
format is just a different way of 'organizing' that information. However,
if you're including size in your analysis, remember that you need to have a
scale factor in the TPS file and you need to use the scale factor when you
do the conversion from TPS to NTS in TPSUtil. That will convert raw
landmark coordinates from pixels to mm or cm or whatever the scale was that
you set up in TPSDig during the digitization.
Good luck.
Cheers
Andrea
PS
Send me the file, if you want me to quickly give a look at what may be
wrong.

Hello,
Thank you Andrea and Viviana, I was able to convert the TPS file to NTS,
although the analysis still doesn't work for the TPS format. Does
TPSRELW perform the same analysis on both file formats ?
Additionally, on one batch of photos, in addition to 16 landmarks, two
vertical lines were drawn on the image. TPSRELW doesn't seem to want to
analyze this batch (It gives the error: invalid floating point operation).
Do you know of any way around this, or will I have to go and remove
these "curves" and "points" individually ?
cheers,
Shahin

Dear Shanin,
I suggest you to check if the file loads fine in other programs
(TPSDig,
TPSSmall, MorphoJ etc.) and if you can convert it into NTS using
TPSUtil.
If not, Viviana is probably right: there's an error somewhere.
I cannot promise to find time but if you want to send me the file and
you're not in a rush, I may have a chance to give a look and see if
I can
find something odd.
Cheers
Andrea
