REVISED:

I'm a PC user, but I'm not a techie. As a result, I'll probably butcher
some of this explanation, but here goes...

The short answer is that Morphologika almost never installs /directly
/into Windows 7 64-bit (nor in 32-bit, I believe). The easiest solution
is to run your PC in "virtual mode," which is a special program in
Windows 7 designed to simulate the Windows XP 'environment' (?). Most
but not all new PCs come with processors which permit virtual mode. For
those computers which do not (like mine), you can still download
'virtual-ware.' For instance, I run Morphologika using "VMWare
Workstation" software. Still, you're better off if your computer can
run Windows 7's virtual mode. If so, then as I understand it, you
simply open virtual mode, and install Morphologika 'there.' PS, I do
not think W7 32-bit has a virtual mode.

Some of the details above are imperfect, but I am sure if you show what
I've written to a person who understands PCs, they can bring it home.

        Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any experience trying to run Morphologika with
        a 64-Bit
Windows 7 operating system? I can get it to install, even
        though I have
to ignore various installation errors (as for the Vista
        installation) but
when I try to Procrustes register coordinates (the files load
        fine) the
program crashes. I have tried the "run as administrator" trick,
        and it
        still crashes.

        Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

        Best,

        Will Harcourt-Smith.
