-------- Original Message -------- Subject: R scripts for both 2D and 3D Date: Tue, 1 Mar 2011 02:43:36 -0500 From: Annat Haber <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Hello everyone, I updated the R scripts on my website to work with 2D as well as 3D. http://home.uchicago.edu/~annat/homepage/R_scripts.html Please check them out and let me know if you find any problems. The three mostly used function are the unifyVD which unifies ventral and dorsal aspects of the skull (or any other two aspects of the same structure) based on common landmarks, the AMP which aligns along the midline plane and reflects missing landmarks, and the OSymm function that basically does the same thing but based on Klingenberg's object symmetry. In addition, you can find there a FileMaker taxonomic standardization database that I've built for ruminants. You can use it also as a template for other groups. Hope that helps, and I'd appreciate any input, Annat ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Annat Haber, PhD Tel-Aviv University Department of Zoology Tel Aviv 69978, Israel c: +972 50 2517 901 http://home.uchicago.edu/~annat/ <http://home.uchicago.edu/%7Eannat/>
