Dear morphometricians
I am currently working with archaeological projectile points from
Southern Brazil, trying to figure out how size and shape change
according to chronology and region.
How do I use landmarks together with semilandmarks? I want to use
landmarks (which are "homologous" among points: tip, shoulder, base,
etc) and insert a specific number of semilandmarks between these
landmarks (let´s say, 30 semiLM between the tip and the shoulder, etc).
I have tried to combine these on TPSDig, but the final file comes up
with nothing (LM=0). I have successfully used LM and semiLM in separated
analysis (using TPSDig), but putting them together has been a problem.
My second question is regarding correlation and p value. Is it possible
to get information on statistical significance (p value) when I run a
correlation, for example, between centroid size and shape variables
(using TPSPls)?
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
Kind regards

Mercedes
