Dear Morphometricians,

I don´t work with GMM on a regular basis so i am only semi-educated
concerning the statistics involved.

I am working with 2-dimensional data on human faces including landmarks
and semilandmarks. In a seminar about one year ago i learned, Goodall´s F
Test (and therefore James Rohlf´s tpsRegr as well, although it performs a
permutation test that - I previously thought - is independent from
Goodall´s F) may not be used for this kind of data - unfortunately i
cannot recall the reason for it.

I hope this community can help me to learn more about the use of Goodall´s
T-Test (maybe by recommending literature on it) and the assumptions my
data has to meet. Additionally, is there any way, I can still perform
regression analysis on my data, although i cannot use Goodall´s F?

With many thanks in advance for any advise

Valentin
