Hello Marco, and everyone else,
If you're an R user, you can use the functions I wrote AMP and OSymm in
order to find the symmetry plane and use it to reconstruct missing
landmarks by reflecting the equivalent landmarks from the other side.
The AMP function is based on the midline landmarks only, and the OSymm
function uses object symmetry (the whole configuration) following
Klingenberg et al. (2002) method. Both 3D and 2D.
You can download these function from the SUNY morphometrics website
http://life.bio.sunysb.edu/__morph/ <http://life.bio.sunysb.edu/morph/>
Let me know if you need help implementing them.
Best,
Annat

Dear Marco
I have been thinking about this, but it's not going to happen
any time
soon, I'm afraid.
Best wishes,
Chris

Hi all,
I was wondering if there is a protocol in morphoj to obtain
missing
landmarks coordinates according to bilateral symmetry (3D
configurations)
thanks in advance for any feedback
marco
