Subject: 3D invertebrate morphometrics
To: morphmet@morphometrics.org

Dear all.

I am new to the list so apologies if this has been covered in the past.

I work with smallish beetles (7-15mm) that are very convex.

Although it is relatively easy to generate a 3D data set for bigger animals so far I have only found a single method to generate one for smaller invertebrates and that is with a reflex microscope. I found that somewhat difficult to use and the system that I used did not store images that I can go back to. Is there any other way to generate a 3D landmark data set from digital images?

Regards
