was using a Microscribe on my Macbook pro using Windows 7 via Parallels Desktop
with no problem. I'm not familiar with the newer Windows operating system
though.

I'm currently using Microscribe on a MacBook Air with VMWare fusion and a WindowsXP.This setup works OK, but I was wondering if I could install a newer version of Windows and which one (windows 7 or 8). I'm not sure if the macAir is suited to run either of those, so any insight from someone using a similar setup is appreciated.
Additionally, does anyone have experience with VirtualBox+microscribe? Does it work fine?
