Notepad in Windows 7 Pro supports prn. It just doesn't
list it as an option for file type. So:
1.
Open the text file in Notepad
2. Choose Save
As.
3. The "Save as type" box will show "Text file (*.txt)" as your file type.
That's irrelevant. Ignore it.
3. Put a ".prn"
extension at the end of your file name.
That should be it. You should have a .prn
file for your landmarks.

I guess the biggest is that I cannot get it into the required .prn format because Notepad doen't support that format, and Word seems to want to make changes. I am running Windows 7 Professional. Is there a solution?The second and hopefully easier thing is to look over my layoutand see whether I have just followed directions carefully.
