Subject: Combining landmarks-again
To: morphmet@morphometrics.org
Dear Morph net
This subject has been ridden to death and apologies for asking again.
I have various landmarks spread over different sterna, the head, pronotum, elytra and pygidium of a beetle genus. Obviously all these move independent of each other and the pins stuck through them shifted some of the plates. How do I combine all these landmarks to have a single dataset for each beetle? It is impossible to get overlapping landmarks for all the structures. Is there any other way to analyze the landmark data?
