Subject: beginner in morphometrics
To: morphmet@morphometrics.org

Hello all:

I'm a beginner in morphometrics and although I've read some manual and papers, I'm still not sure in some things.... I'm trying to analyse the changes and differences in form of Octopus stylets by sex and octopus size, but I just have two landmarks and many semilandmarks. I have been using the IMP programs, I did the Procrustes superimposition, the semilandmark aligments and to know the differences in sex, first I used a PCA and then a CVA in the PCA Scores. I'm still not sure how to make for continues variable as size and weight, should I use a Regression or PLS or something else? How can I do?

Thanks for your answers
