Dear ALL,

I am pleased to announce the launch of a new website dedicated to morphometrics (with an emphasis on geometric morphometrics) -- The Morphometrics Library (aka "MorphoLib"). It is an independently maintained website which will offer a number of useful information resources (reference lists, datasets, and software snippets in R/Matlab/Mathematica) to morphometricians.

For the time being, it includes links for some morphometrics books (with the first ever presentation of the covers of all "colour books" on morphometrics!), as well as for a few list of references.

My list of references on fish geometric morphometrics is now a part of MorphoLib (directly accessible from http://morpholib.eu.pn/bib/fishbib.html) .In the near future I will add other lists (on shell and leaf morphometrics), generated from my bibliographic databases.

BTW, many thanks to everyone who sent me references on fish morphometrics -- some of them ahead of print and every one of them very interesting!

I will keep posting announcements here when some new stuff is added to MorphLib.
