I'm sorry to bother everyone with this, but I'm having a problem with a specific analysis in NTSYS and was hoping that someone could help me- I've been using the help files all day and can't figure out what sub-routine I need.
I have a large dataset and it is not possible to place some of the individuals that I would like to examine into an OTU, particularly type specimens, which of course I would like to analyse separately from an OTU anyway. Last year, I was able to figure this out and now for the life of me, I cannot remember what I did. I know that there is a way to analyse individuals and compare them to the OTUs with the result that each individual is matched with the OTU that it resembles the most. The output has thre columns- specimen, distance and group. If anyone could help me with remembering this, I would be most grateful.
