Hello all. I am looking for bibliography on the different possible approaches for analyzing chronology (age) from ring patterns on biological structures. I would like to apply some method that takes into account the whole shape of rings (or other marks). I am focusing on fish otoliths, but tree rings and other similar things could be interesting for getting key ideas because I am at the very starting point.
