Dear Morphometricians, I have written a very simple program for converting files in NTSYSpc format to the Comma-Separated Values (CSV) format compatible with MS-Excel and other spreadsheet and statistical software. Sure, Jim Rohlf's tpsUtil program can do that as well, but my program is quite simple and fast. I am making it available with source code and a pre-compiled executable for MS-Windows. It is not the best piece of software engineering (but also not the worst!) and someone may find its general-purpose routine for reading NTSYSpc files useful for implementing in her/his own programs.
The program is written in Object Pascal as a console-based application (it does not feature a GUI as the programs in the TPS and MULTIVAR series) and requires Borland Delphi 4.0 or higher to re-compile. It can be downloaded from here: http://eagle.ufrj.br/~maurobio/pub/nts2csv.zip Hope this helps! Cheers, -- + - - - - - - - - - - - - Mauro J.
