Erin,

It seems this would be easy to do in a spreadsheet, but I use MorphoSys
since I have it. This program can project two lines to find a vertex
and then measure the angle between the lines. The program costs $250
but requires a $2000 out-of-production framegrabber that you can still
get, along with MorphoSys from Exeter software. There may be someone at
your institution that has the program, or I could run it here for you.

I am looking for software that can measure the angle
between two lines WITHOUT having to identify the
vertex of the angle. Many of the angles I am
interested in are very small and I cannot plot the
vertex within the borders of the image. I have looked
at SigmaScan and ImageJ (from the NIH) and I believe
these programs both require the user to plot the
vertex.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Erin Leslie
