The Department of Paleobiology seeks a full-time Curator whose
research specialty is quantitative analysis of the fossil record,
with a focus on evolutionary and/or ecological patterns and processes
over geological time. In addition to a record of peer-reviewed research
publications on significant problems in the evolution of life,
applicants are expected to have experience and interest in science
education as well as contributing to general understanding of
evolutionary processes using evidence from the fossil record. The
position is initially a 4-year appointment and will be filled at the
GS12/13 level (salary range is $60,638 to $93,742 commensurate with
experience.)
