Hi, guys.
I know this is kind of off topic, but it relates to each and every one of
us.  Are your questions on your state tests weighted?  I just found out that
the higher thinking questions are weighted so 2 children could score the
same numerical score, but child #1 would pass because they answered more
higher order questions correctly.  NO ONE HAS EVER TOLD US THAT!  The
principal wasn't aware of it, none of the teachers were aware of it, no one
knew!  We just found out (check out this website

Is that typical in your states?  We teach the standard "answer the easy,
right there questions first so you can get more correct answers then go back
and take your time on the harder questions" technique which I think everyone
has learned from the beginning of time, so I was surprised at this.  Please
