As I begin to make partner pairs in reading, writing, and math I have been thinking of all the ways I could go about to do this.... Although I like ability grouped partners(I think the workload is shared better ... without any condensing looks or deer in the forest worried looks... at least in first grade....),I also know it can get stale. I have tried heterogeneous (not my favorite for focus skills though great for brainstorming procedural types lessons), sociograms, and "clock buddy" partners, this year I want to spend more time with partners who are alike in learning profile.... interests, readiness, ability , but mostly how they process information. I am asking all of you to help me brainstorm this part of the puzzle. Besides, the 8 kinds of smart.... how else would you access types of learners???? I really appreciate all those who responded to an earlier post... esp. Barbara... you scaled an inventory for me in seconds! _______________________________________________ Mosaic mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe or modify your membership please go to http://literacyworkshop.org/mailman/options/mosaic_literacyworkshop.org.
