I've taught several grades using the edition of McGraw Hill that the previous
teachers spoke of, and basically agree with what they are saying. However, I
believe you are talking about the newest edition which ties into Reading First.
I only peeked at it last spring at the NCRA conference. As I remember, they
had done a total revamp and changed almost everything. In fact, they changed so
much that their proposal was late and they are not on the NC list of adopted
texts.
