It was used in our middle school...and our teachers liked it at first. The  
achievement gains did not appear to 'stick' once the intervention stopped. I  
can't tell you more than that, though. I have no direct experience. Just  
rumors...
Ask your consultant for research results conducted by an independent agency  
rather than research done through Scholastic.Ask also if there is longitudinal 
 information which tracks kids over time.
