I agree w/Bill. Videotaping kids---especially for display on the Internet--can present legal issues. When I went through the National Board process in 1998-99, I had to gather parent permission forms for using student work and/or videotaping students in my entries. AND I had to keep the permission forms for 3 years (I think it was). Custody issues, having children of law enforcement officers (or high profile people) in our classes, or simply respect for others' privacy, should make us wary of posting video on the Internet. Remember: this listserve is an open forum----anyone can gain access to our files. Just my two cents... Barbara/6th/FL
