Since the teacher is able to choose the lessons for each child, along with the level (beg. or advanced) it could definately be used for interventions. There are lesson plans to help the teacher introduce the lesson, and then practices and assessments for the students to complete. I found that the practices were often enough for most of the students. However, I only assigned assignments that I had already introduced with the class. Reading, writing and math are all covered on this site.
