We talked among teacher study groups about this very thing and about how the 
need to ALWAYS find an answer, perhaps the 
answer, is sometime counterproductive to creative thinking and problem-solving. 
 I know that want the answer in Algebra left 
me always feeling I hadn't resolved a damn thing, A-C was not an answer, 5 was 
an answer.
