A few years back our school had a large grant and had the Carbo tapes and a lot of other resources and training from the company. After time, we have discarded most of the tapes. They are not an example of fluent reading, it is very slow reading. The students would not follow along and track, they would become bored. At the time it seemed like a good thing, however it never proved to be very good or helpful to many of our struggling readers. Terry/Fl
