Hi, all, I have received information about the new Fountas & Pinnell assessments. We currently use Rigby in 1st, and report levels in grades 2-6, but it is at the teacher's discretion. We call them, "Working guided reading" levels, so teachers know that it is the level the student is grouped with, but we know the level is not fixed. Do any of you know anything about the above system? Since our rep cannot sell Heinemann any more, I've lost a trusted guide. Thanks for any info. Carol
