I am working on making the MPIR something that all of my teachers at 5th and
6th grade can use in the beginning of the year as a whole class assessment.
WE already do a one-on-one assessment, so I don't feel that I can give them
another one, but they are open to a whole class assessment. So I am
planning on having them do portions of the MPIR with read alouds.
I am looking for suggestions for books that would be good for
this--specifically, good upper elementary picture books that might lend
themselves to any of the strategies.
