Debbie, I have that book. It is a wonderful story, but I'm not sure I will use it with my students. As I recall the teacher plants the seeds (the students) and tends them until they are ready for another year. I would like to focus on the children as being in charge of their own learning (the seeds) and me helping them find the tools to cultivate their own gardens. My book is at school and I need to reread it to see if I can use it with my students. Thanks, Kay in AZ
