You know I understand what you mean about the research. However, I'm wondering . . . I've only taught 7 years and I've read lots about reading comprehension that was from the research . . . was there research like this say . . 10 years ago? I know at my school we've teachers who have taught 20 - 25 years and they've always taught the same way but now since the research has come out they seem to be changing their ways (slowly but they are changing).
