I have used this site for about a year. Worth every penny... Great articles to share with others, as I put a weekly newsletter for teachers in my scholl.

A few articles are free, but it is mainly a by-subscription site...$30 for 3 months, or $99 for a year. There are many excellent authors represented here, including "The Sisters". Many seem to have publishing links with Stenhouse, and it seems the site may be based in Maine, which would make sense. Is anyone a member of the site, and can you tell me if you've found it worthwhile? I'd also love to see the Sisters' new DVD about organzing classroom space called "Simply Beautiful". If you've seen that, I'd welcome your comments as well. Also, any comments of the Two Sisters' new assessment workshops using the CAFE acronym for assessment? (CAFE=Comprehension, Accuracy, Fluency and Expanding Vocabular.). There's a one-day workshop I'm interested in, and would be glad to hear from anyone who has attended this particular workshop. Thanks, Mary Jane 1/2 Classroom NS, Canada _______________________________________________ Mosaic mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe or modify your membership please go to http://literacyworkshop.org/mailman/options/mosaic_literacyworkshop.org.
