I have used this site for about a year.
Worth every penny...
Great articles to share with others, as I put a weekly newsletter for teachers
in my scholl.

Subject: [MOSAIC] Choice Literacy/The Two Sisters

Hi,

I have just discovered the Choice Literacy website
(choiceliteracy.com). A few articles are free, but it is mainly a
by-subscription site...$30 for 3 months, or $99 for a year. There are
many excellent authors represented here, including "The Sisters". Many
seem to have publishing links with Stenhouse, and it seems the site may
be based in Maine, which would make sense. Is anyone a member of the
site, and can you tell me if you've found it worthwhile?

I'd also love to see the Sisters' new DVD about organzing classroom
space called "Simply Beautiful". If you've seen that, I'd welcome your
comments as well.

Also, any comments of the Two Sisters' new assessment workshops using
the CAFE acronym for assessment? (CAFE=Comprehension, Accuracy, Fluency
and Expanding Vocabular.). There's a one-day workshop I'm interested
in, and would be glad to hear from anyone who has attended this
particular workshop.

Thanks,
Mary Jane
