Whew! I was wondering the same thing. I know I'm still prepping . . . we started school last Wednesday and we started a new reading series (McGraw Hill). I'm still trying to figure it out. Unfortunately, I'm at a school where you HAVE to follow each page and carry the manual with you. Just to give you a glimpse of what my reading will be like . . . my third graders don't know what comprehension means. So we'll see how it goes this year. Cathleen 3rd Grade P.S. Has anyone read 'Comprehension Connections' by Tanny McGregor?? What a fabulous book!! I plan on doing many of these activities (behind closed doors . . . of course!) to help my students.
