I hope everyone is off to a great start of a new school year. I'd like to take time to remind people to try to *TRIM* your reply messages to just a bare minimum of text. Also, please *REPLY TO THE PERSON* if you ask for personal information or want to be included in something.
For more info on this see: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg02619.html By chance I opened a bounced digest message. Eek, egads, and forsooth! Here's what I found: Messages 34 (great!) Pages 37 (ouch) Words 9,608 (several chapters of a novel?) So each post sent out yesterday averaged about one page and 282 words. This is fine if those 282 words are new, but a big challenge for digest people and others when the bulk of the words are a repeat from a previous post. So please be careful when you hit reply. Try to send your own words and not a bulk repeat of a previous post. It only takes a few seconds to review and trim before you hit send. Review and Trim, Review and Trim. This is ~67% of what the AVERAGE post was yesterday. _______________________________________________ Mosaic mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe or modify your membership please go to http://literacyworkshop.org/mailman/options/mosaic_literacyworkshop.org.
