Laura,
We have several in our building of the camera below. Our county's bid price is 
$635 each. Many are more expensive and better quality. However, we decided on 
this one because it does a decent job and we could get twice as many for the 
price. They do have to be hooked up to an LCD projector to work. I have one 
with the projector, a laptop, and an Interwrite student pad. I can go back and 
forth between the laptop or pad image and the camera image with just a click of 
the switch. This technology has transformed my teaching in the past several 
years. It's hard to describe just how much and in what ways.
