I am very ambivalent about the use of post-its-  One one  hand, it gives 
children a place to record a thought, but by the time they get to  write more 
about the thought they have forgotten what they wanted to really  say.
If we let children really respond to their thinking when reading, then they  
are spending more time writing than reading and this isn't good either.
 
Any thoughts??
