The Audubon Society of Florida has a magnificant webcam focused on a pair of bald eagles with eggs ready to hatch! This is one of the best animal webcam views I have ever seen! It has no time delay and is really close. My students have really enjoyed watching the birds. I know I can't take my eyes off of them. I just knew I had to turn this into a reading lesson. Good time to teach reading non - fiction and identifying the elements. Gail Gibbons "Soaring with the Wind - The Bald Eagle" If you have time to do a great read aloud and then leave the webcam image up all day, you'll create great discussion about bald eagles and couple it with the elements of non - fiction.
