I?m commenting in response to the Mosaic Tools page for Parents:
As someone that likes to be able to connect to parents and students
at home and provide parents with the skills necessary to foster a
literacy filled home environment, I feel that it might be a good idea
for others to take those suggestions offered within this website and
tailor them for the parents. Rewriting said suggestions in parent
friendly terminology and possibly even presenting them at a parent
night or open house event at the beginning of the year.
I know this might take extra time that some of us, I know don?t have;
but to be able to create better readers, and help parents to continue
your teaching at home, I think that this would do wonders for any
student; having literacy be a valued entity within and outside of
school.
