Anyone out there ever used Access NewspaperARCHIVE? It is "advertised" in the latest Connect Eng list-serv. According to them, it:
This free program offers K-12 schools and public libraries free access to newspapers from 1759 to 1977. This page explains the program, which requires registration (the form is available at the site). The program looks good, but unfortunately there is no "sneak peek" feature, so I haven't tried it myself. If you do, please let me know how it goes. I don't want to commit to it until I've heard more about it. The registration form requires IP addresses, which I don't want floating around out there if the company isn't reputable. Thanks for the feedback!
