Just to clarify, I think we have a "literacy closet" but we call it a bookroom 
- a middle school version of what is described in Fountas & Pinnell's Guided 
Reading Books.  Is this what you are looking for?   My email is listed below so

closet at a secondary level - specifically middle school.  If you are a middle
