Hi all - My call for help isn't nearly as critical as Leslie's, but I'm hoping someone will save me anyway! I taught a really successful writing segment last year in second grade on heroes, but cannot find my file anywhere!! What I need are suggestions for books. I have T.A. Barron's The Hero's Trail, It's Our World, Too! by Phillip Hoose, Kids With Courage by Barbara A. Lewis, 50 American Heroes Every Kid Should Meet by Dennis Denenberg and Lorraine Roscoe, and We Were There, Too! Young People in U.S. History by Phillip Hoose. I have no idea what picture books I used. Good grief! Can anyone help me out of this dilemma? Thanks so much.
