Hi All, Does anyone have experience with read-alouds where, "students engage with the text by talking back to characters, inserting themselves in the story, critiquing and controlling story elements, taking over the story, and dramatizing story events?” It sounds wonderful especially for Pre-K and Kindergarten, but I would like some tips on how to contain as well as invite such participation.
