As one of the other reviewers, I want to second Elisa's comments. 40 years ago I started using comics to teach students how to write book reports and it segued into using the images as a aid to comprehension. How I wish I had this book back then. It is so user friendly, so easy to read, and well supported with illustrations from Mr. Thompson's classroom. As a coach I have been able to use examples from the book to help not only my ELD teachers, but regular classroom teachers. This ais a very practical book.
