Just an idea, but I have used tin stove burner covers. You know the ones your grandma most likely had that had something decorative like an apple on it that was placed over each stove burner. You can find them in a set of 4 at most dollar stores. They are magnetic and you can write on them with white board markers as well. The two smaller ones in the set are kind of a waste but the two larger covers work great and are the perfect size!
