Reading with the Troubled Reader does a great job of helping you id how and why 
they struggle.  Does your child lack experience with books, are they print 
bound, are they relying specifically on what they know about the outside world, 
or are they underpredicitive (forgetting to use what they already know)...time 
is well spent reading this book!

connect to current research and practice?  I also think it might be for older
