Is anyone out there using Webquests as part of your comprehension instruction?
As someone who has been in the profession a while, I was not really aware of
what a Webquest was but I went to an inservice Monday for Content literacy and
was hugely impressed with what these teachers did with a combination of
nonfiction texts and webpages.

I was trying to figure out how to use this tool (since it is so high-interest)
with the teaching of comprehension strategies. Anyone out there tried it? I
would love a few ideas on how to get started.
I do want to keep the focus on comprehension strategies...like maybe how to
have the kids use a webquest to practice synthesizing?
