Yellowbug, In regards to your request for specific reading lessons......my 
first thought was to ask what assessments you are using.  That will identify 
the specifics, I think.  Though I'll admit right up front that finding good 
assessments isn't always easy.

Just some past experiences...When I had to make due with the assessments my 
district provided.

When I thought a child was having grade level decoding problems I loved the 
Quick Phonics Screener to give me some specific target lessons.

A QRI let me zoom in on whether a child's comprehension was weak due to 
something as basic as inability to recall information and answer explicit 
questions, or was it higher level explicit.

A fluency check directed me to lessons on phrasing or simply building rate  
(though not at the cost of comprehension)

Our state test let me know if a class or individuals were having problems with 
summarizing, locating information in a text, answering Level 2 questions.

I know none of that is rocket science, but it gave me a starting place and
