Hi! I am a student teacher finishing up my student teaching in Hazel Park,
MI. We use sticky notes all the time for reading/writing workshop. Some ways
that we use them while reading are; organizing thoughts, text connections,
vocab. questions, etc. We recently just finished report writing (using
biographies). During this unit we had the students take half sheets of paper
for each section/chapter of their biography and place their sticky notes on
each. This allowed the students to move and organize their information. Any
other ideas on how to use sticky notes? Thanks!
