Hi Kelly, I am a third grade teacher and my students really enjoy books on animals. They love horse books, dog and cat books, bug books, books on bears, and many more. They also enjoy historical books such as books on the Titanic, mummies, and historical figures. They enjoy the Magic School Bus series. Another collection they enjoy is Dear America series. If you choose series books, all you have to do is read one aloud and book talk the others and they will read many in the series. I hope this helps. Paula
