I totally agree with Elisa's point. I began my teacher education when my daughter was in kindergarten. I didn't realize how our reading time had changed until she asked me if I was reading as a teacher or a mom and then said she preferred that I read as a mom. It was much more enjoyable that way.
Carmen I think more important than that is that the parent and child enjoy this time together and that they develop natural ways of talking about books.
